One of the things that has been of interest to me since I started my doctorate was getting to know my academic ancestry; linking each doctoral candidate to their doctoral supervisor(s). I wanted to see how far back I can go and see if any names pop up that I have learned about in school or university, studied or used their contributions during my doctoral work myself. I tried to be methodolgical and find multiple sources that converge to the same links. But of course, many times I could only go on whatever information I could find in mentions. If you know any places where I haven’t gotten the real or complete story, please drop me a line!
